Whatever the result of your dowsing, there is no doubt that it is a lot of fun.

Dowsing is a simple and versatile method of tapping into the subconscious to obtain available information. You  may be drawn to a particular pendulum, one that will  work well with you, responding well to your questions. First establish a yes/no response. Hold the chain or chord of the pendulum between your thumb and forefinger, with about 4" between your fingers and the pendulum. Ask the pendulum to say `yes' and see which way it swings for you. This may vary for different people. Usually it is in a clockwise circular motion. Next ask the pendulum to say `no' and see which direction it begins to move. For some people it will move backwards and forwards and for some it will move in a circular, anticlockwise motion. When asking questions of your pendulum you are actually tuning into your Higher Self, who has access to limitless information. You must remember though, although you may want to know many things and will ask many questions, there are some things that you are not meant to know, as they may affect or hinder your life path and spiritual growth, and therefore you will not be told the answers to some questions. When this is the case your pendulum will act confused, giving you inconsistent answers on the subject.

Dowsing is a great way to develop your intuition. When you have mastered the art you will suddenly realise that you know the answers to your questions before the pendulum has time to answer. This shows that you are tuning into your Higher self more easily and can now develop your intuition further.
