The Stella Maris Temple of Light

The Stella Maris Temple of Light is presently being establishing as an interfaith church by Evelyn Whitebear, who is an ordained minister of the Church of the Seven Planes.

‘Stella Maris’, meaning ‘Star of the Sea’, is the name given to both Mary and Isis, who are thought by many to be the same being. The Great Goddess 'Mari' from Syria & Persia is also one and the same, wearing a blue robe with a necklace of pearls, which are both symbolic of the sea. It is through the guidance and blessings of Isis, among many others, that this centre has been formed.

The Stella Maris Temple of Light provides spiritual guidance in a variety of ways, catering for the diverse needs of different people. Whether you are drawn to the energies of Higher Divinities, or resonate more with Earth Based Spirituality, the Stella Maris Temple of Light caters for all.

Although we honour the goddess in all her forms, we feel it important to also honour the male gods, as a balance is needed between the feminine and masculine, for one cannot exist without the other.
